This process includes damage assessment, insurance consultation, cost analysis, and material replacement. SCARPros is an acronym for Storm Cost Assessment & Restoration Professionals.
Who We Are
SCARPros was formed by Tim Winkley in 2015. Tim worked for several contractors and began to see a need to advocate for homeowners in this marketplace. He believed the home or business owner needed a partner to work for them because he had witnessed some insurance companies not living up to their advertised standards.
It was after a severe storm that hit Booneville, IN in May of 2014 Tim realized, undoubtedly, someone needed to guide property owners through the arduous process of storm restoration with their insurance companies. SCARPros will work diligently to restore property to its pre-storm condition, or better.
A door was opened for Tim to form SCARPros in March 2015. SCARPros’ will advocate for ethical treatment of property owners and a vigorously defend the insured when dealing with subpar insurance claims.
